The 316 Stainless Steel 30 Degree Base is specifically designed for angled installations, such as sloped decks, stair railings, or curved yacht hulls. Unlike a standard vertical fitting, the 30-degree angle allows the handrail to remain parallel to the slope or follow the sheer line of the boat perfectly. Combined with Grade 316 stainless steel, it offers superior resistance to pitting and corrosion in harsh saltwater environments.

This Boat Handrail Base features a flat mounting plate with four countersunk screw holes, designed primarily for screw mounting (using self-tapping screws or bolts). This makes installation and future maintenance much easier. However, because it is made of high-quality stainless steel, it can also be welded onto steel decks if a permanent, seamless bond is required by your fabrication standards.

Standard packaging for our Rectangular Stanchion Base usually includes the base fittings only. However, we offer complete installation kits that include A4 (316) stainless steel screws and nylon or stainless steel plugs. We highly recommend using 316-grade screws to prevent galvanic corrosion when installing this 316 Stainless Steel 30 Degree Base on fiberglass or wooden decks.
