Q:What material is your guardrail made of? Will it get rusty?

The product is made of 6063-T5 aluminum alloy profiles. It is naturally rust-proof. The surface is double-layer electrostatic fluorocarbon spraying/powder coating. It can be used in seaside salt spray and rainy and humid environments. Under normal outdoor use, it will not rust for 30 years and is not prone to fading. It is completely different from ironwork that is prone to rust and ordinary zinc steel which is easily corroded.

Q:How long does the product last? Is it necessary to repaint and maintain annually?

It can be used outdoors for over 30 years with normal operation; it is completely maintenance-free. There is no need to remove rust and repaint every year. Just wipe it with clean water daily and there will be no ongoing maintenance costs.

Q:What is the standard thickness for aluminum materials? Can it be made thicker and customized?

Standard columns are 1.8 - 3.0mm in diameter, crossbars are 1.2 - 2.0mm in diameter, and vertical bars are 1.0 - 1.5mm in diameter. We support customers in customizing thicker profiles as per their needs. This can be done for both engineering and villa projects with high load-bearing requirements.
