Q:What kind of materials can this PC 240/500 hammer crusher handle?
A:
It is ideal for crushing brittle, medium-hard materials with a compressive strength of less than 100MPa. Common materials include limestone, coal, slag, gypsum, brick, glass, and calcium carbonate. It is not recommended for highly abrasive or very hard rocks like granite.
Q:How can I adjust the final output size?
A:
The output size is controlled by the grate bars (sieve) at the bottom. We provide different gap sizes (e.g., 3mm, 5mm, 8mm). By changing the grate bars, you can easily get the specific particle size you need.
Q:What are the main wearing parts, and how often should they be replaced?
A:
The main wearing parts are the hammers and grate bars. The replacement frequency depends on the hardness of your material and the daily working hours. Generally, our high-manganese hammers can last 3-6 months for limestone crushing. We suggest buying an extra set of hammers with the machine.
Q:Can this machine be powered by a diesel engine instead of an electric motor?
A:
Yes, absolutely. We can customize the machine with either an electric motor or a diesel engine to suit jobsites without stable power supply. We can also add a mobile trailer (wheels) for easy transport.
