Yes. Despite its high density and fire-retardant properties, the PET foam core remains significantly lighter than traditional wood, aluminum, or solid FRP panels (approximately 50-70% lighter). This reduces the load on building structures and allows for easy handling, cutting, and quick installation on vertical wall surfaces without heavy lifting equipment.

The closed-cell structure of our PET foam ensures that the fire-retardant properties remain stable even in high-humidity environments (up to 95% RH). Unlike wood cores that warp or lose integrity, our panel maintains its dimensional stability and fire resistance near moderate heat sources. However, for direct exposure to open flames or extreme heat (>200Celsius), we recommend additional heat-shield barriers.
