Q:Is it possible to produce temperature humidity chambers with humidity control but no temp. control?
A:
No, not with accuracy or repeatability. Relative humidity is calculated based on temperature. If temperature changes, relative humidity changes. Therefore, stable temperature control is essential to ensure stable humidity levels.
Q:Can you control only humidity?
A:
You cannot control humidity accurately without temperature control. While you can get as dry or humid as possible by skipping temperature control, you still need to measure temperature to calculate relative humidity.
Q:What refrigerants are used in the chamber?
A:
The chamber can use R-134A for standard ranges, R-404A or R-507 for single-stage systems, and R-23 or R-508 for cascade systems achieving very low temperatures.
