Q:Does this radio support DAB+ or only old DAB standard? Is it suitable for European countries?

This model supports DAB+ (the current European digital radio standard), compatible with all EU DAB+ broadcast networks. It also covers FM. Suitable for UK, DE, FR, NL, PL and other European markets.

Q:Can solar panel power DAB+ mode directly? How about battery runtime on DAB+?

Solar works as auxiliary trickle charging source. DAB+ digital mode consumes more power, we recommend using solar for supplementary charging rather than continuous direct running on solar. Fully charged battery: approx. 8 to 12 hours playback under DAB+ mode (50% volume); FM mode reaches 12 to18 hours runtime. Actual time depends on signal condition and volume.

Q:Do I need special certification to import this DAB radio into EU?

Yes. Digital DAB+ radio must comply with EU RED directive. We can provide RED test report together with CE & RoHS documents for customs clearance and retail selling within European Union.

Q:What functions does the flashlight have? Any SOS function?

Built in bright LED flashlight for night lighting. Unit is equipped with loud SOS alarm sound for emergency alert. There is no strobe light by default; strobe function can be added as ODM option.

Q:Does the radio have station preset memory for DAB+ stations? How many presets?

It supports auto DAB station scan and station presets. Standard version supports 40 DAB+ presets + 40 FM presets, quantity can be adjusted in ODM project.
