Unlike conventional cables that use flammable plastic insulation, our MICC cable uses highly compressed Magnesium Oxide (MgO) powder as insulation, encased in a solid copper tube. Since both copper and MgO are inorganic and melt at extremely high temperatures (1083oC and 2800oC respectively), the cable simply cannot burn.
