Q:How do I know if the battery is low?

The alarm will chirp approximately every 50 seconds accompanied by a red LED flash when voltage drops below 7.5V, warning you at least 7 days in advance.
Q:Can I silence the alarm if it triggers a nuisance alarm?

Yes, press the test button to enter silence status for about 10 minutes. You can manually exit silence status at any time by pressing the test button again.
Q:Where should I install this smoke detector?
