Frr Flow Rate Ratio Automatic Plastic Volume Rate Tester

The instrument can run the mass method, the volume method, or both at the same time, and it calculates the flow rate ratio automatically. Both methods start when the piston reaches a defined position, so MFR, MVR and FRR data come from a single charge.

The working range is 0 to 400with a fluctuation within 0.5 over 24 hours, a temperature uniformity of 1 and a display resolution of 0.1. Control uses a closed-loop PID system with a platinum resistance sensor and a separately controlled copper heating sleeve, an adjustable heating slope and over-temperature protection.

Eight load levels are supplied: 0.325, 1.200, 2.160, 3.800, 5.000, 10.000, 12.000 and 21.600 kg, with a weight accuracy of 0.5%. The weights rest on the weight carrier and are loaded electrically once the preheat countdown ends, then unloaded automatically.

It handles high-melting engineering plastics such as polycarbonate, polysulfone, fluoroplastics and nylon, as well as lower-melting plastics including PE, PS, PP, ABS, POM and PC resin. Typical users are plastics producers, plastics product makers, petrochemical plants, universities, research units and commodity inspection bodies.

The instrument is designed for GB/T 3682-2000, ISO 1133:1997 and ASTM D1238 testing, and the touch screen controller holds built-in test conditions for many plastics that can be called up directly and stores the last setup and result.
