There are three modes of heat transfer: conduction, convection, and radiation. By removing most air molecules to create a vacuum, we largely eliminate conduction and convection, which are the primary mechanisms of heat flow in air.

The high barrier film must not be damaged. You cannot cut the panels on-site or puncture them with dowels as air entry ruins the insulation. However, they can be glued to surfaces or integrated into constructions with appropriate covers.

Thin panels can be bent into cylindrical forms within limitations; thinner panels allow smaller curvature radii. Regular panels cannot form complex 2D curvatures like spheres, but new technologies allow for complex shapes and holes upon request.

Short-term high humidity exposure is not problematic. However, long-term exposure, especially combined with high temperatures, is not recommended. Installing humidity barriers to keep panels dry is advisable.
