A:
Bronze offers higher corrosion resistance, especially in saltwater or high pressure steam systems. Brass is more cost effective and works well for potable water, HVAC, and low pressure applications. For standard fresh water systems, brass is common; for marine, chemical, or high temperature environments, choose bronze.
Q:2. Are your brass and bronze valves certified for drinking water systems?
A:
Yes. Our brass valves and fittings comply with lead free standards (less than 0.25% lead content). Bronze products are also available with WRAS certification upon request. Please check product specifications or contact us for a specific certification document.
Q:3. Do your products use NPT, BSP, or BSPT threads? Are adapters available?
A:
We offer both NPT (National Pipe Thread) and BSP/BSPT (British Standard Pipe) options. Please specify your required thread standard when ordering. Thread adapters are also available to convert between NPT and BSP systems.
