Q:What is GMT brick pallet?
A:
GMT Brick pallet is made from GMT material (Glass Mat reinforced Thermoplastics), widely used in automobile and construction industries. It is named 'the most environmental friendly material in 21st century' for its rigidity, toughness, and recyclable characteristics. The fiber structure makes it as solid as reinforced concrete.
Q:How about the rigidity of GMT brick pallet? Will it bend?
A:
GMT brick pallet is stronger than common plastic and bamboo plywood pallets. In a test loading 115kg objects, the max distortion for GMT pallet was only 6mm, compared to 5mm for PVC, 12mm for common plastic, and 7mm for bamboo plywood.
Q:How about the toughness of our GMT brick pallet? Is it easy to be broken?
A:
It is not easy to get broken. Even with a big hammer, it is hard to break even if cracked. In impact strength tests, GMT pallets reached 20 MJ/m2, while PVC reached 7 MJ/m2. GMT pallets remain good when PVC gets broken.
Q:How heavy is it for GMT brick pallet?
A:
Ours is 12 kg for an 18mm thick one, but it is 18 kg for PVC with the same specification, so ours is 1/3 lighter than PVC. In comparison, GMT weighs 21.5KG vs 33KG for PVC, 23KG for common plastic, and 16.2KG for bamboo plywood.
Q:Is it easy to be crushed when in the process of vibrating or be broken in moving?
A:
No. Vibration has no effect on our pallet, and it will not be crushed. There is no broken phenomenon when the pallet is locked on its moving along the iron chain. After half a year using, the Bending Strength Remaining is 95% for GMT pallets.
