AI-Powered supplier vetting

SummaryThe supplier is a China-based bag manufacturer located in Xiamen and reports specialization in bags since 2006. Its product range includes backpacks, sports bags, travel bags, laptop bags, cooler bags, handbags, leather bags, school bags, and outdoor bags. It reports ISO9001, BSCI, and Sedex credentials, OEM service for well-known brands, ODM capability, recent new-product activity, and broad customization services. Production information indicates substantial stated output across travel bags, backpacks, bags, and school bags, with 11–20 quality-control staff and exports comprising 90% of total sales. However, finished products are checked by packing staff, no written corrective/preventive-action procedures or records are reported, and no overseas warehouses, showrooms, agents, or branches are available. Financial records are identified for 2021–2023, but the provided information does not establish financial strength. Customer cases are not specifically disclosed.

Supplier typeThe supplier is identified as a specialized bags manufacturer and trader based in Xiamen, China, with products covering backpacks, travel bags, school bags, handbags, and related bag categories. Its stated business scope also includes broad retail and internet-sales activities beyond bags, but the primary commercial engagement is Bags, Cases & Boxes.

CertificationsThe company description explicitly states ISO9001, BSCI, and Sedex credentials. The slices do not provide certificate numbers, validity dates, or audit outcomes, but they do provide direct evidence that these certifications or standards are claimed.

After-Sales capabilityThe supplier reports no written corrective and preventive action procedures or records, has no overseas warehouse, showroom, agent, or branch, and lists customer-complaint handling as “Others” without supporting detail. It does report inventory capability and participation in the China Sourcing Fair, but the evidence does not demonstrate effective structured after-sales support.

R&D capabilityThe supplier reports new products during the past year, ODM services, and multiple design-based development options. However, total R&D engineer experience is stated as less than five years and no SDK is available, so the evidence supports product-development capability but not a strong technology-platform capability.

Production capacityThe supplier reports output of 3,000,000 pieces each for travel bags, backpacks, bags, and school bags, maintains 11–20 quality-control staff, and has in-stock capability. Production-capacity contract status is unknown, and finished products are checked by packing staff, so capacity is supported while process-depth evidence is limited.

Customization capabilityThe supplier explicitly offers customization from samples, customization from designs, full customization, minor customization, and flexible customization. It also reports ODM service, providing direct evidence of broad customization and design-manufacturing support.
