Service life varies greatly depending on operating conditions (corrosiveness, abrasiveness, operating time), ranging from several months to several years.

Replacement should be considered in the following situations: 1. Irreparable tears, holes, or severe thinning; 2. Severe, irreversible clogging resulting in extremely low filtration efficiency that cannot be restored; 3. Excessive stretching causing dimensional deformation that cannot be corrected for misalignment.

It is recommended to rinse both sides of the conveyor belt with low-pressure clean water after each shift to prevent material from drying and clogging the pores. For stubborn blockages, depending on the chemical properties of the material, a low-concentration acid, alkali, or specialized cleaning agent can be used for soaking and cleaning, but the compatibility of the cleaning agent with the polyester material must be confirmed.

The interface must be flat, secure, and aligned. An uneven interface will cause continuous scraping of the equipment during operation, incomplete filter cake removal, and become a stress concentration point, accelerating wear and tear. A trial run should be conducted after installation to ensure the interface passes smoothly through all rollers.
