Stainless Steel Wire Mesh Endless Shell for Paper Machine

Mesh count directly affects fiber retention and dehydration speed. Low mesh count (60-80 mesh) is used for newsprint and boxboard paper for quick dehydration. Medium to high mesh count (90-120 mesh) is used for cultural and printing paper for good fiber retention. High mesh count (120+ mesh) is used for special paper and filter paper for fine filtration.

The most commonly used is 304 stainless steel, due to its good corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and moderate cost. It can withstand acid, alkali, and humid environments in pulp. For more demanding environments (such as high chloride ion content), 316L material can be selected to enhance corrosion resistance.

Longer service life: Wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, with a lifespan several times that of polyester wire mesh. Higher stability: Low coefficient of thermal expansion, dimensional stability, and less prone to deformation. Better paper quality: Smooth, seamless wire mesh surface, reduced paper marks, and improved uniformity.
