Q:I see your surface roughness is Ra0.4. Why is this better than standard screws?
A:
Standard screws are often Ra1.6 or Ra3.2. A smoother surface (Ra0.4) prevents plastic melt from sticking to the screw flights. This is especially important for high-transparency materials or frequent color changes, as it allows for faster and cleaner purging
Q:The straightness is 0.015mm/1000mm. How do you measure this?
A:
We use a high-precision laser straightness tester on every finished screw before it leaves our factory. We can also provide the mechanical test report with the shipment for your verification
Q:I process highly abrasive recycled PP with glass fiber. Will your standard screw work?
A:
For glass-fiber reinforced materials, we recommend our upgraded Bimetallic screw option. It has a higher surface hardness and lasts up to 40% longer than standard nitrided steel
Q:I don't have a CAD drawing. Can I still place an order?
A:
Yes. Please send us a clear photo of your old screw with a ruler showing the total length and the keyway size. Our engineers can calculate the specs from the photo
Q:Do you provide the matching barrel for this 35mm screw?
A:
Yes. We supply complete Screw & Barrel sets. The barrel is manufactured with the same precision and material quality to ensure a perfect fit.
