Q:What is the difference between a Two-Stage Granulator and a standard Single-Stage Granulator?
A:
A single-stage granulator melts and extrudes in one step. A two-stage system uses an auxiliary extruder to re-melt and homogenize the material after the first extrusion. This results in higher purity, better mechanical properties, and allows for moisture removal (venting) without compromising the final pellet quality
Q:Can I process both film scraps and rigid lumps with this machine?
A:
Yes. With the large 160-180mm screws and high-torque motors, it is designed to handle heavily contaminated film scraps, woven bags, and rigid plastic lumps without stalling
Q:The output is listed as 400-600kg/h. What determines the actual speed?
A:
The actual output depends on the material density and moisture content. For standard dry PE/PP scrap, you can expect a stable output of 500kg/h. Heavily contaminated or wet materials may run slightly slower.
Q:My factory uses 440V/60Hz power. Can you change the voltage?
A:
Absolutely. We will rewire both motors and all heating elements to match your local voltage and frequency before shipping
Q:How does the venting system prevent material from clogging the vent port?
A:
The screw is specifically designed with a pressure-drop section at the vent opening. This allows steam and volatiles to escape freely while preventing the molten plastic from being pushed out of the vent
