By itself, the Fingerbot Plus uses Bluetooth (BLE), so you can control it via your phone within a 10-15 meter range. For remote control (e.g., turning on your PC or coffee machine from the office), you will need a Tuya Bluetooth Gateway/Hub to bridge it to your home WiFi.

Q:Does it work with Alexa and Google Assistant?

Yes, it supports voice commands through Alexa and Google Home. However, like remote control, this feature requires a Bluetooth Gateway to sync the BLE signal with your smart home cloud.

Q:Is the 'Plus' version different from the standard Fingerbot?

Yes! The Fingerbot Plus features a physical touch button on the device itself, allowing you to trigger it manually without opening the app. It also has a more powerful motor and improved battery life (CR2 battery).

Q:Will the adhesive tape damage my wall or appliance?

We use high-quality 3M double-sided tape which is very strong but can be removed. Pro Tip: To remove it without residue, use a hair dryer to slightly warm the tape before peeling it off.

Q:My switch is a 'rocker' style (on/off), can this pull the switch back up?

Absolutely. The Fingerbot Plus supports 'Switch Mode'. By using the Rocker Arm accessory (included in the toolpack), the robot can both push down and pull up the switch, effectively converting any traditional rocker switch into a smart one.
