No, the color will not fade. We use French CL natural stone chips with excellent UV and weather resistance.
Q:Why are nails needed if the shingles are self-adhesive?
A:
Adhesive viscosity only increases at suitable temperatures. Nails are used to fix shingles initially until heat activates the adhesive.

Yes, a waterproof membrane must be installed. Options include self-adhesive or polymer PP/PE membranes.
