The warranty for Sangobuild asphalt shingles is normally 20-30 years, depending on the thickness selected.
Q:Does the color of the shingles fade over time?
A:
No, the color will not fade. We use CARLA natural stone chips from France, which offer excellent weather and extreme UV resistance.
Q:Why are nails needed if the shingles are self-adhesive?
A:
Nails are used to fix the shingles initially. The adhesive only becomes effective when exposed to sunshine and increased temperature, ensuring strong bonding later.
Q:Is a waterproof membrane required before installation?
A:
Yes, a waterproof membrane is mandatory. You can choose between self-adhesive waterproof membrane or polymer PP/PE waterproof membrane.
