Digital Rotameter with Display for Accurate Flow Monitoring

A rotameter is a type of variable area flow meter that measures liquid or gas flow by observing the position of a float inside a tapered tube. The float rises or falls depending on the flow rate.

An ultrasonic flow meter measures flow using ultrasonic sound waves. It calculates the flow rate by detecting the transit time difference or Doppler shift of the sound waves as they pass through the fluid.

Rotameters are typically made from glass, stainless steel, or plastic (PP/PVC) depending on the fluid and pressure requirements. Ultrasonic flow meters often use stainless steel, aluminum, or durable plastic for the sensor and housing.

Both types of flow meters are used in water treatment, chemical processing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and industrial fluid systems.

Selection depends on factors such as flow range, fluid type, temperature, pressure, installation requirements, and whether contactless (ultrasonic) or direct-reading (rotameter) measurement is preferred.
