Consider where the machine is located. If the environment is wet, dusty, cold, hot, explosive, or a cleanroom, you might want a stainless steel machine if frequent washing is necessary.

The machine model is determined by the width of the widest bag you will be sealing. For example, if your widest bag is 300mm wide, select a machine that accommodates at least that size. Bag height is also a factor.
