A: At maximum cooling the unit draws approximately 35-45A on 12V and 18-25A on 24V. In ECO mode this drops to 20-30A and 10-16A respectively. The compressor is not always running it cycles on and off based on the thermostat set point, which saves power. A 200Ah deep-cycle battery typically provides 6-8 hours of intermittent cooling overnight

The system uses R134a refrigerant and comes pre-charged and sealed from the factory. Under normal operation there is no need to recharge. If a refrigerant leak is suspected due to physical damage, any automotive AC shop can service it R134a is universally available and no specialized equipment is required

A: Yes. A 400-600W solar panel array paired with a charge controller can power the unit directly during daylight hours without draining the battery. Many fleet operators combine our AC with a rooftop solar panel to achieve near-zero operating cost during daytime rests

A: The control board auto-detects input voltage when powered on no manual switch is needed. If your fleet has both 12V and 24V trucks, the same unit works on both without any adjustment, reducing inventory complexity

A: The unit is designed for a standard 400x400mm roof hatch opening, which covers most heavy-duty trucks, RVs, and vans. For vehicles with a smaller or non-standard opening, we supply optional adapter plates. Please measure your existing hatch cutout and confirm with us before ordering
