Black Double Sided PE Foam Tape Red Liner High Bond Waterproof Mounting

Double sided PE foam tape is made with a flexible polyethylene foam carrier coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive on both sides. It is commonly used for mounting, bonding, cushioning, sealing, gap filling and vibration reduction.

This product consists of a black PE foam carrier, double sided pressure-sensitive adhesive and a red film release liner. Solvent acrylic adhesive is recommended for applications requiring stronger and more stable long-term bonding.

The red release liner protects the adhesive before application and makes the tape easier to handle, slit, rewind and die cut. The liner is removed when the tape is ready to be bonded.

The PE foam structure and acrylic adhesive provide good resistance to water and moisture. However, final waterproof performance depends on surface condition, compression, tape thickness, bonded area and edge sealing. Testing is recommended for continuous water exposure or immersion applications.

The tape can bond to many compatible materials, including metal, glass, ABS, PC, PMMA, PVC, PET, ceramic, painted panels and sealed wood. For PP, PE, silicone, oily surfaces, rough powder coatings or highly textured materials, please provide the substrate information so that we can recommend the correct adhesive or primer.
