It could run max 58A. You should use 4-6 AWG wire for the output. But we could only fit for 6 AWG wire now. We would update this unit in the next version and make it could fit 4 AWG wires.

Q:Can this box handle a 1600W system if it says 1400W max for 24V?

You should get 4 panels in 1 string. Then you would get a 48V combination and use 1 string in this box. 4 sting= 16 panels and it would work since the max current for 1 string would be 15A for this system. The cords and fuses are fitted.
