Q:How to choose PC board and acrylic board? Which one is more durable?
A:
PC has 30 times higher impact resistance than acrylic. UV-coated PC resists yellowing for 5~10 years outdoors. Acrylic features slightly higher light transmittance but is brittle and fragile, it will turn yellow rapidly within 2~3 years outdoors, only suitable for indoor decoration. Choose PC for outdoor and anti-impact scenarios.
Q:Will PC material crack at low temperatures in winter? What is the highest temperature resistance?
A:
PC operates stably from -40 to 120continuously, it maintains high toughness without cracking at -40, and withstands short-time 130 heat exposure. Sustained open flame baking is forbidden.
Q:Can you do CNC non-standard and irregular processing? What is the machining tolerance?
A:
We own full CNC production workshop, provide cutting, drilling, grooving, chamfering, hot bending, polishing and bonding service. Standard machining tolerance is 0.1mm, small batch samples & drawing-based custom shapes are available.
Q:Does PC board need UV coating for outdoor use? Can UV-free boards be used outdoors?
A:
Double-side co-extruded UV coating is mandatory for outdoor application. Non-UV standard PC sheet will turn yellow and lose transparency after 1~2 years of direct sunlight exposure, only applicable for indoor use.
Q:How to clean the PC board? Can alcohol be wiped?
A:
Clean with alcohol, clean water or neutral detergent. Do not use acetone, paint thinner, banana oil or strong caustic soda, these solvents will corrode the sheet and cause whitening & cracking.
