For mass production, 718H or S136 is our top recommendation. They offer superior hardness, corrosion resistance, and polishability, extending mold life to over 500,000 shots. P20 works well for short runs under 100,000 shots.
Q:How to design gate to avoid obvious marks on plastic baskets?
A:
Submarine or hot runner gates are adopted under basket bottom. Gates break off automatically after ejection for smooth surfaces.
Q:Can basket moulds work with multiple materials like PP and PE?
A:
Cavity size is adjusted for different shrinkage rates, universal cooling & ejection fit PP, PE and more plastics.
