Q:How should cooling channels be designed in a bumper mold to avoid warpage?
A:
Large parts hate uneven cooling if the inner and outer surface temp difference exceeds 5 degree, warpage is guaranteed. The trick: follow the wall thickness denser channels where it's thick, sparser where it's thin. Keep inlet-outlet delta under 3 degree.
Q:What is the typical lifespan of an automotive bumper mould?
A:
Under normal working conditions, the service life of a complete bumper mould can reach over 800,000 shots. We adopt high-hardness steel for cavities and apply nitriding treatment on key parts to enhance wear resistance. The optimized cooling system reduces deformation and abrasion during injection. We also provide standard operation and maintenance guidelines to further prolong the mould lifespan.
Q:Can you provide custom mould development and modification according to different car models and product drawings?
A:
We offer full customization services. We can complete design, machining and commissioning based on your 3D drawings, samples or vehicle parameters. We also undertake mould modification, repair and texture adjustment for existing bumper moulds to fit products of different specifications.
