Q:What is P530HS and why not AISI 4145H?

P530HS is an austenitic Mn-Cr-N stainless steel, not AISI 4145H. A steel collar is ferromagnetic and would corrupt the magnetometer readings inside MWD and LWD tools, so P530HS gives the same weight on bit with permeability at or below 1.001.
