AI-Powered supplier vetting

SummaryHangzhou Softel Optic Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer established in 2006 specializing in CATV, HFC broadband optical transmission, fiber-optic, satellite, and related communication equipment. It reports more than 100 staff, five production lines, over 1,000 square meters of standardized assembly space, 6–10 quality-control staff, and documented three-stage quality checks. Reported output includes 2,000 optical transmitters and 5,000,000 meters of fiber-optic cable annually. The supplier states strong R&D capability, but only three years of total R&D-engineer experience is provided. No supplier-management-system certification is reported. Export activity is established, with exports representing 71%–90% of sales and exporting beginning in 2006. Trade records show five 2025 transactions involving one buyer in the Philippines, indicating some customer evidence but limited diversification. Evidence is insufficient to assess after-sales service, customization, or financial credibility.

Supplier typeThe supplier identifies itself as a manufacturer and describes specialization in CATV system equipment, HFC broadband optical transmission equipment, and fiber-optic communication products. Its listed product range and company profile support classification as an optical-communication and CATV equipment manufacturer.

CertificationsThe supplier-management-system certification field is explicitly recorded as “NIL.” This confirms that no such certification is reported in the provided information.

R&D capabilityThe company states that it conducts R&D in CATV system equipment and has strong R&D capability, while reporting more than 100 staff with 10% senior technicians. However, the supplied R&D-engineer experience is only three years, and no product-development results or patents are provided.

Production capacityThe supplier reports more than 1,000 square meters of standardized assembly space, five production lines, 6–10 quality-control staff, and annual output of 2,000 optical transmitters and 5,000,000 meters of fiber-optic cable. It also describes material checks, post-production stability and performance testing, and pre-delivery packing checks, providing explicit evidence of organized production and quality-control capacity.

Client casesFive 2025 trade records identify FIBERNET BROADBAND INC as the buyer, with shipments to the Philippines covering waterproof products, splice connectors, and active units with AGC and filters. These records provide one identifiable customer case and evidence of transaction activity, but do not demonstrate broad customer diversification.
