Q:Can MMO coated titanium anode wire be buried directly in soil?
A:
Yes. It can be laid directly in ordinary soil. For dry soil with high resistivity, coke breeze backfill is recommended to reduce ground resistance and stabilize current output.
Q:What causes output current drop after long-term operation?
A:
Main causes include increased ground resistance due to dry backfill, oxidized terminals, overvoltage polarization and surface scaling. Check backfill humidity, joint sealing and power supply parameters accordingly.
Q:Can the anode wire be cut and spliced on site for extension?
A:
On-site cutting is allowed. Reliable crimping or brazing is required for splicing. All joints shall be insulated and sealed to avoid conductor corrosion caused by electrolyte infiltration. Simple twisting connection is prohibited.
Q:What precautions should be taken for storage of MMO titanium anode wire?
A:
Store in dry environment and avoid coating scratches by hard objects. Do not immerse in strong acid for long time. Avoid heavy compression during coiled stacking to prevent deformation and coating damage.
Q:Is the MMO titanium anode wire the same as the MMO wire inside conductive polymer flexible anode?
A:
Same titanium substrate and MMO coating system. However, the wire inside flexible anode only serves as conductive core covered by conductive polymer, and cannot be taken out for independent application.
