A:
Not universal. Seawater contains complex impurity ions and high chloride content, requiring optimized coating load and formula. Conventional fresh water desalination anodes age faster under continuous seawater conditions. Please inform us of detailed water quality indicators before quotation.
Q:Is pre-treatment of raw water required to protect electrodialysis titanium anodes?
A:
Yes. Effective pre-treatment is needed to reduce suspended solids and water hardness. Mass suspended particles will wear the catalytic coating, and high hardness will accelerate inorganic scaling on the anode surface.
Q:Can your titanium anode adapt to polarity reversal salt chlorinator equipment?
A:
Yes. We optimize coating adhesion for systems with polarity reversal anti-scaling function. Please inform us of the reversal cycle in advance during ordering to match the best coating scheme.
Q:What is the correct way to clean scale on pool titanium anodes?
A:
Use 3%~5% dilute hydrochloric acid for short soaking. Do not scrub the surface with hard brushes. After descaling, fully rinse with clean water. Avoid high-concentration acid and prolonged soaking which will damage the active coating.
Q:How to choose between Ir-Ta coating and Ru-Ir coating for electrodialysis titanium anode?
A:
Select Ir-Ta coating for conventional desalination, acidic water and oxygen evolution environment. Choose Ru-Ir coating when the feed liquid contains high chloride ions. Wrong coating selection will greatly shorten electrode service life.
