Water Process Calcium Stearate is manufactured via direct aqueous neutralization of high-purity stearic acid with calcium hydroxide , a wet chemical process. Unlike dry process grades (which mechanically mix stearic acid with calcium oxide), water process achieves molecular-level reaction, producing higher purity (over 98.5%), finer particle size (D50 2 to 8 micron), and better dispersibility in PVC and plastic compounds. It functions as both an internal and external lubricant
