When four Mecanum wheels are mounted on a vehicle and driven independently, the vehicle can move in any direction - forward, backward, sideways, diagonally, or rotate in place - without changing the wheels' steering angle. This omnidirectional mobility is achieved by controlling the speed and direction of each wheel independently.
