A sliding ski rides directly along the reference surface (ground, curb, or stringline), and the vertical movement is converted into an electrical signal sent to the grade control system, which automatically adjusts screed height to maintain target elevation and longitudinal slope. It accepts interchangeable 30cm, 1m, and 2m skis for different job site conditions.
