A:
Square bar has square section (equal sides), flat bar has rectangular section (thickness != width). Square bar is isotropic, suitable for shafts and symmetric parts; flat bar is economical, suitable for connections and supports. Same section area, square bar has stronger bending resistance.
Q:How to calculate weight?
A:
Square bar weight (kg/m) = side(mm)2 x 0.00785. Example 50x50 = 502 x 0.00785 = 19.625 kg/m.
Q:Can custom cut?
A:
Yes, standard 6m/9m, special up to 12m. Cutting, drilling, milling, heat treatment available.
Q:How to select material?
A:
