Q:Why do I need to discard the first few centimeters of glue?

This is a crucial step! When you start, the two components may not reach the tip at the exact same time. Discarding the first 3-5 cm ensures that the ratio is perfectly balanced (10:1) before application, preventing issues with uneven hardening.

Q:Is the mixing nozzle reusable?

These are designed as disposable (one-time use) consumables. Once the adhesive inside the tube cures, it cannot be cleaned or reused. However, if you have leftover glue in the cartridge, you can leave the used nozzle on to act as a seal for the remaining adhesive.

Q:Can I use this for a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio glue?

Not recommended. 1:1 or 2:1 cartridges usually use a different 'Round Bayonet' or 'Bell-mouth' interface. Forcing a fit may cause leaking or poor mixing. Please ensure your adhesive specifies a 10:1 ratio.

The internal mixing elements are made of high-quality POM (Polyoxymethylene), which provides excellent chemical resistance and structural strength to withstand high-pressure dispensing without breaking.
