This mold is specially customized for STT triangle taper tail self-tapping screws. The unique triangular thread and concentrated sharp taper tail enable strong piercing performance, widely used in furniture wood boards, thin metal sheets, plastic and construction fastener production.

We provide DC53 alloy steel and SKH-9 high-speed steel for options. SKH-9 is the preferred material for mass production of stainless steel STT screws, with higher wear resistance and longer service life. All blanks are high-strength mold steel with Taiwan vacuum hardening treatment.

Yes. We support full OEM customization. According to your screw samples or drawings, we can adjust thread diameter, pitch, tail taper angle, mold thickness and tooth profile to match all specifications of STT self-tapping screws. Standard molds are in stock for fast delivery.

Absolutely. If you produce stainless steel STT screws, we recommend SKH-9 high-speed steel material with vacuum nitriding treatment, which solves the problem of fast wear when rolling stainless fasteners and greatly extends mold service life.
