Q:What is a one-button quick release damper?

A one-button quick release damper is a rotary hydraulic damper integrated with a single-push release mechanism. It allows the toilet seat to close softly (soft-close) and also be removed from the toilet bowl instantly by pressing one button-without tools.

Q:How does the one-button release work?

The damper housing has a spring-loaded button. When pressed, it retracts a locking pin or unlocks a clip, allowing the seat to be lifted off the mounting base. Releasing the button locks the seat back in place when clicked down.
