Grade 5 (TC4 / Ti-6Al-4V) is a high-strength aerospace alloy with 900+ MPa tensile strength, heat treatable, best for high-stress, weight-critical applications.

Q:Are these screws comparable to steel grades?

Yes. TC4 (Ti-6Al-4V) performance equals or exceeds 12.9-grade alloy steel at ~57% the weight. TA2 is similar to 8.8-grade steel in strength but far more corrosion-resistant and 40% lighter.
