Q:What is the difference between PPGI and PPGL color coated sheets?

PPGI uses hot-dip galvanized steel substrate with zinc coating, cost-effective for inland construction. PPGL adopts galvalume (Al-Zn alloy) substrate, much better anti-rust & salt fog performance, ideal for coastal, humid and industrial outdoor projects. Both support bending, stamping and profiling processing.

Q:Can your PPGI/PPGL sheets be bent and punched without coating peeling?

Yes. Our base material is soft ductile DX51D steel with strong coating adhesion. Thin gauges like BWG24, BWG28 can be folded 90, rolled into corrugated panels and punched without paint cracking or peeling off. Perfect for advertising hoardings, ventilation ducts and roof sheets.

Q:What outdoor service life can I get from your color coated steel?

Standard PE polyester coating PPGI can last 8 to 12 years in inland dry areas. PPGL galvalume color coated sheet with high weather resistant coating can serve 15 to 20 years at seaside or acid rain zones, resisting UV fading and rust.

Q:Do you provide free samples of PPGI and PPGL sheets?

We supply small cut test samples for quality inspection. Sample cost is charged, and it will be fully deducted when you place bulk orders. The shipping freight of samples is borne by buyers. Custom thickness, color and spangle samples are available.

Q:What are the main application scenarios for your color coated coils?

Widely used for construction temporary hoardings, outdoor advertising billboard backboards, factory roof & wall panels, ventilation pipes, light equipment casings and decorative metal panels. Custom width, thickness and color are acceptable.
