in most cases, if the volumetric weight of your cargo is greater than the gross weight, we will charge you by CBM. lf your gross weight is greater than the volumetric weight, we will charge you by KG.

What is volumetric weight?

Accepted Answer

The calculation formula of volumetric weight: volumetric weight =L (cm) x H (cm)x D (cm) : 6000. For example. when the length of a carton = 48cm, width = 45cm, height = 39cm, then the volumetric weight of this carton =48x45x48x45x39:6000 =14.04kg. But please note that if it is Global Express service, then the factor is 5000 instead of 6000
