Sheet Molding Compound FRP Fiberglass Composite Tank for Water Container

SMC(sheet moulding compound) based on NPG/ISO/ORO unsaturated polyester resin/ Vinyl ester resin or Epoxy resin, fiberglass woven roving or chopped strand or carbon fiber reinforced, contains mineral fillers and other materials. SMC materials are thermosets and contain glass or carbon reinforcement levels between 18 and 60 percent. The longer fibres in SMC result in better strength properties.

The production capacity of the SMC production line is 50,000 tons, and that of the BMC production line is 20,000 tons. There are 5 compression molding presses of various specifications including 3000-ton, 2000-ton and 1500-ton models.

SMC uses long continuous glass fibers in sheet form; BMC uses short chopped fibers with higher fluidity for complex small parts.

SMC features high strength, corrosion resistance, electrical insulation, flame retardancy and stable dimensional accuracy.

Usually you can keep 5~6 months from production to use, if in the suitable storage condition. Please store it in and keep in a cool, ventilated and dry place below 25 deg C. Avoid fire, keep away from heat and radiation sources. Avoid water and prohibit exposure to sunlight and open storage. For foreign customers, we will use Reefer container (18C temperature). Once you open the package, please use it all during three days.
