First connect the standard air source to the two-part device and set the sausage tying machine's air pressure to 0.6 MPa. Switch on the machine side button and air supply, then tune the pressure plate for target length. Thread stuffed sausages through reserved holes, push them manually to the pressure plate and press firmly to start tying. Reposition each segment onto the plate, press repeatedly till the whole sausage is fully fastened.

Regularly inspect the two joints of the sausage tying machine and promptly remove any water present. Ensure that the machine's chain and sprocket are adequately lubricated with oil. Apply engine oil to the drum base and sliding sleeve. After each use, rinse the machine with water and thoroughly dry it with a cloth.

Different casings need distinct tightness. Rigid ones like plastic smoked film demand tight binding: push the hand control valve in, cut off the air supply, then outward twist the nut behind the centrifugal pressure block to boost pressure and maximum thread tension. For natural and soft collagen casings, loosen threads by turning the same nut inward to lower pressure and reduce clamping force.

Avoid excessive bending of the timing belt to prevent fracture, structural damage and function failure. Store belts in natural bent state in a cool dry area isolated from oil and water. Pulley teeth must stay perpendicular to belt running direction. Correct belt deviation in time and tweak tensioner pressure to align driving and driven shafts. Fix loose pulleys or brackets immediately if belt slips due to changed center distance and slack.
