Skewing happens when the carton width is too small for the track span, or if the pitch causes uneven acceleration. Adjusting the 5% to 9% incline and installing full-length divider plates ensures cartons maintain a straight path.
Q:Do we need different inclines for lightweight versus heavy cartons?
A:
Yes. If lightweight and heavy cartons share the same incline, heavy boxes may accelerate dangerously while light ones stall. The system's 5% to 9% adjustable pitch should be calibrated separately for lanes handling different weight classes.
Q:How does deep-lane flow racking handle impact forces at the picking face?
A:
In long flow lanes, accumulating kinetic energy causes severe impacts that damage front-row goods. Installing friction brake pads at the picking end forces deceleration, ensuring cartons arrive at the picking face safely without overflowing.
Q:If a roller is damaged by a forklift, must the entire rack be dismantled?
A:
No. The flow rails are directly connected to the front and rear support beams. If an aluminum alloy roller track section is damaged, you can easily detach and replace that individual rail without dismantling the surrounding rack structure.
