Q:Does a higher addition of PE WAX result in better lubrication?
A:
No. PE WAX must be used within the appropriate addition range. Excessive addition may lead to over-lubrication, delayed plasticisation, surface migration and reduced post-processing performance of the finished product. It is recommended to adjust the addition level gradually through small-scale trials.
Q:Why does PVC plastification slow down after adding PE WAX?
A:
This may be due to an excessively high PE WAX loading, a PE WAX with a high melting point, an inappropriate ratio of PE WAX to other lubricants in the formulation, unsuitable processing temperature settings, or incompatibility between the stabiliser and the lubricant system. You may try reducing the PE WAX loading and readjusting the ratio of internal and external lubricants.
