Our standard process includes induction hardening on all journal surfaces (main and pin) to achieve a hard, wear-resistant surface (HRC 55-60) with a tough core. This is followed by tempering to relieve stresses. We also offer nitriding and case hardening for special applications requiring extreme wear resistance or fatigue strength.

Our standard balancing grade is G6.3 per ISO 1940-1, which is suitable for most automotive applications. For high-performance and racing engines, we offer G2.5 or better balancing upon request. Each crankshaft is individually balanced on computerized machines, and a balancing report can be provided.
