Q:How to distinguish spiral conduit and corrugated conduit by appearance?

Spiral conduit features one continuous spiral rib running through the whole pipe. Corrugated conduit has separate circular ring corrugations, and each ring is independent.

Q:Which one has better flexibility?

Corrugated conduit is much more flexible. It can be bent in small radii to avoid obstacles. Spiral conduit has moderate flexibility. It may crack if sharply bent or twisted forcibly, not suitable for frequent bending.

Q:Can they be buried underground or embedded in concrete?

Spiral conduit (carbon spiral conduit) is suitable for underground burial, road and green belt cable laying. The spiral outer wall engages with soil and offers high ring stiffness to resist external pressure. Ordinary corrugated conduit cannot be buried under heavy load. It is easy to be flattened and block cables under compression.
