Q:What is PVC steel wire reinforced hose?

It is flexible PVC hose embedded with helical galvanized steel wire as supporting skeleton. Smooth inner bore. It can work for both suction and discharge. Most types are transparent to observe medium flow directly.

Q:Can it work under vacuum / negative pressure?

Yes. The spiral steel wire prevents the hose from collapsing under suction. Widely used for pump suction lines and powder conveying. Ordinary plastic hoses cannot withstand vacuum.

Q:What is normal working temperature range?

Standard PVC type: Do not operate continuously above sixty five. For higher temperature, choose PU steel wire hose or Rubber hose .

Q:What media can be transported?

Suitable: clean water, wastewater, diesel, engine oil, dilute acid & alkali, slurry, granular materials.

Q:What should be avoided?

Not suitable: concentrated strong acid, strong solvents (acetone, toluene), steam, aromatic oil. Medium compatibility test is recommended before formal use.
