What is cold pressing and hot pressing?

Cold pressing is the pressing of dried raw seeds. It usually takes two compressions to get the maximum amount of oil. Hot pressing is the pressing of roasted seeds. Usually only 1 time to get the maximum oil. Roast peanuts to 125-130 degrees with 1-2% moisture. (We make seed roasters that are economical to heat with fuel.)
